My research interests focus on the Vietnam Conflict and the antiwar movement born from the conflict. Specifically, my dissertation work will focus on the history of the United States Servicemen's Fund and its role in the antiwar movement of the 1960's and 1970's, with a further focus on global examples of GI led and funded resistance to war and conscription. Other interests include the political and cultural history in influence of Richard Nixon and the use of popular culture in secondary and higher education.Education
