As an accounting co-op at iRobot, business administration major Kelly Dankese of Wilmington discovered a symbiotic relationship between what she learned in the classroom and the work she was doing for the Bedford-based tech company.
I didn鈥檛 realize how lucky I was to get this co-op at iRobot. They have a lot of women in leadership roles, which was really cool to see. I could tell it was a really good fit for me.

Nicole Hayek came to the Manning School of Business to prepare for a career in marketing. Along the way, she's been able to fulfill her passion for music.
Music has always been my biggest dream, but I'm so thankful for the opportunities that UMass Lowell has given me. The array of opportunities here is never-ending.

Thanks to professional co-ops at New Balance and Teradyne, mechanical engineering major Matt Macioci has designs on a future career working with complex machinery.
If someone had told me when I was a freshman that I鈥檇 be working at New Balance in 2-3 years, I wouldn鈥檛 have believed it. It鈥檚 amazing what I鈥檝e experienced here.

As a merchandising co-op for TJX in Framingham, senior business administration major Hayley Buonodono of Amesbury took a giant step toward her career goal of working as a buyer in the retail industry.
It鈥檚 really exciting to go into the stores and see everything set up and be able to say, 鈥業 shipped that!鈥� I love that you can feel the product and see what you鈥檙e shipping. It鈥檚 very tangible. It鈥檚 just a really cool feeling.
