Data analytics is applied in all business areas, and accounting is no exception. Accountants deal with data for budgeting, planning, data management and auditing. Through the Business Analytics option, you will:

• Identify where data can solve complex business and accounting questions, shape corporate strategy, forecast financial trends and thwart fraud.
• Understand how structured and unstructured data is collected, created and stored.
• Access and manipulate data for descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
• Apply various analytics tools to answer complex business questions, including identifying and evaluating relevant associations, relationships and outliers of accounting-related data.

• Improve your understanding of organizational challenges and the accountants' role in meeting those challenges.
• Develop the skills to collaborate with others and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals.
• Learn various measures of reporting organizational performance in compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including technology management and data analytics.
