UMass Lowell is spearheading the establishment and ongoing operations of two fellowship cohorts: one placing graduate students in the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs’ Office of Energy Transformation (OET) to support advancing energy transition systems at the state level, and another embedding fellows within municipalities to assist local governments in clean energy projects.

OET Fellowship

The Office of Energy Transformation Fellowship program is a 12-month placement where students contribute directly to OET’s key initiatives and help shape the future of clean energy in Massachusetts.
